Who benefits the most from a planner and coordinator?

You will benefit best from working with us if you want your dream event or wedding. Or you either don't have the time, the resources or the know-how to accomplish your dream event or wedding. If you know what you want, but have no idea how to get there or if you are not clear at all about how to plan the wedding of your dreams, that's okay. You are a perfect candidate.

Who is not going to benefit from our help planning your event or wedding?

We absolutely delight in helping our clients for personal, corporate events and our couples and their families that we work with to create their dream events and wedding days, but we have to be a match for one another if we're going to create the most amazing day that you've always wanted.

So, if you're a chronic doubting Thomas, don't understand the value of having an event or wedding planner and coordinator, or have trouble seeing that you absolutely deserve the most fabulous event or wedding possible, this is not going to be a good fit.

It's OK if you think that you're in this category, but you need to do some soul-searching and thinking before we get started. Otherwise, we won't be able to help you the way you need it. You absolutely must know that you are deserving of the gifts that are there for you before you can receive them.

Will I lose control of my own wedding if you are planning it for me?

No, of course not. A terrible event or wedding planner is one who takes control away from you. That is not the point of event or wedding planning. The point is being an extension of who you are and of your creativity. Your sense, style, creativity, passion should be completely apparent throughout the entire event or wedding. You are the focus of your event or wedding and it's totally your day. You make all the final decisions along the way. We're just here to help you fully achieve your potential and fully realize your dreams in ways that you never even realized were possible! You will never, ever lose control. It is YOUR day. Period.

Will you work the vendors I've already found or people I really want to work with?

Of course. We will work with your fabulous vendors and make sure that they're the right fit for you. It is not necessary for you to only work with the vendors and people we've worked with in the past, know and trust; however, we do have amazing vendors at our fingertips that we can easily match to your needs, when needed. Do you take credit cards and can we have a payment plan?

Yes. We happily accept all major credit cards through Pay-Pal. That way you never have to wonder if your credit card info is safe. That's how we do most of our business actually. What also makes us different from others is that we can setup automatic invoices so that you never have to worry about when payments are due, and you don't have to think about paying us before the wedding. We can include payments to vendors in this same manner if you would like.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes. We have liability insurance that allows us to work confidently every where. We have never needed it, but we are protected to help you feel more secure and safe for your peace of mind knowing that we're fully covered.

Do you take more than one event or wedding per day?

We only have one event or wedding per day or week per professional Planner and Coordinator. Your planner and coordinator will only focus on your needs for your event or wedding per day. No more. Our clients are our only focus on the day or weekend of your event or wedding. We want our clients to have our undivided attention so that every need is met.

My event/wedding location already provides a Catering Manager and onsite coordinator, why do I need another one?

Although most reception/event centers and some ceremony locations provide their own wedding coordinator, they usually only handle all the details and responsibilities that are related to their specific location. They are not responsible for assisting you or planning your entire event or wedding. Many times in an effort to offer you a good location and a good price for food, they use less service staff which can negatively impact you and your guests. At A MEMORY LANE EVENT, we offer you the personal services that you need for your dazzling day from selecting the perfect location for you, the professional vendors, preparing the detailed time line to giving you ideas, suggestions and advice so you are informed before you make your decisions and provide additional staff where needed so your event or wedding is seamless. Not only do we coordinate your stylish arrival, with the locations staff, your catering needs but we also coordinate all of your other vendors, right through the end of the night and getting your personal items to you after the event/wedding. We will ensure that no details of your wedding have been overlooked. Any issues that may happen to arise during the event, we attend to. You should be enjoying your dazzling affair with your friends and family, this is part of what makes your extravaganza a diamond quality. At a time convenient to you with in a couple weeks, we'll return your personal items to you.
